In October, GAR Foundation announced $2,504,000 in funding to Summit County community organizations. This included several large grants in support of its strategic work in the education space, including $450,000 to United Way of Summit County and $200,000 to SEI.
GAR Foundation’s conference brings together K-12 educators in Summit County for a full-day of learning, idea sharing, and networking around education and classroom instruction. This is a FREE conference for K-12 educators in Summit County. This year’s theme is Expanding Boundaries.

This fall, GAR Foundation will host its Annual Educator Conference at the Hilton Garden Inn – Akron. Kindergarten through 12th grade educators from Summit County private, public and parochial schools are encouraged to attend this free conference on Oct. 5, 2017, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration will be open this summer.
