Leppo and Williams Join Board of Directors

Summit Education Initiative (SEI) gains valuable insight and a variety of professional and community experience with the addition of two members to its Board of Directors. During the Board of Directors’ annual meeting on June 8, members voted to accept the requests of Glenn Leppo and John Williams to join the board. This City Reads! Brings Students and Veterans on the Field

It’s summer break, but some local kids had a ball Wednesday with reading. Summit Education Initiative, along with The University of Akron Center for Literacy and Akron-Summit County Public Library, held their annual This City Reads! Speaking Up

This month, some students have put their minds to a unique challenge. International Institute of Akron’s (IIA) Inquiring Minds Summer Debate Camp has welcomed 24 students to participate in debate exercises and lectures at the National Inventors Hall of Fame® STEM Middle School.
