Attending National Conference to “Rise Up” for Every Student

Summit Education Initiative (SEI) will rise up for students in Summit County during a national convening Sept. 20 through Sept. 22 in Memphis, Tennessee. Libraries Stack Up on Activities for Children and Families

Thanks to a robust program offering at all ASCPL locations, local children and their families may discover a sense of community, while also developing a love for learning. According to Barb White, ASCPL’s neighborhood services manager, the library’s role in the community is to help kids learn. Library Introduces Live, Online Tutoring for Students of All Ages

Just in time for the start of a new school year, Akron-Summit County Public Library is pleased to announce the launch of Tutor.com, which offers students of all ages live, one-to-one help from professional tutors online. The new service is available to anyone with an Akron-Summit County Public Library card.
