Ritchie Memorial Foundation for their most recent financial contributions to SEI. All five foundations will support the work SEI organizes and executes along the Cradle to Career continuum.

From designing and presenting materials to help families better prepare their children for kindergarten, to convening representatives from Summit County high schools to discuss ways to increase graduation rates, SEI applies data analysis to all areas of the continuum to better support the success of students in the county. Work within this Cradle to Career continuum also focuses on third grade reading initiatives and projects that support student success in eighth grade math, two other very critical transition points within a student’s educational path.

In 2017, SEI will begin hosting the Cradle to Career Experience at different businesses and organizations in Greater Akron to help individuals understand the effects of interventions in classrooms to help children achieve higher educational attainment.
